Activities:
Round Robin: Who are some women pushers from Scripture and in your own life who inspire you to fulfill your purpose as a life-giver, too?
Review Themes and Points from Chapter 2
Review discussion questions and biblical examples of women who pursued purpose.
Small groups share personal stories of purpose and ways they feel called to contribute.
Assignments:

Meeting Four
Chapter 3: All My Life I Had To Fight
Discussion Focus: Discuss Chapter 3 - Identifying and healing from church hurt.
Activities:
Discuss & Review Themes from Chapter 3 on Healing
Reflect on the impact of past church hurt and discuss healthy boundaries.
Faith Circles pray for each other’s healing journey.

Discussion Focus: Discuss Chapter 4 - Understanding spiritual warfare and cultivating resilience.

Full group discussion on resilience and setting healthy spiritual boundaries.
Faith Circles discuss ways they can support each other through challenging faith journeys.

Meeting Six
Chapters 1-4: Panel Discussion; Chapter 5: Group Discussion
In this session, we will host a panel discussion featuring four volunteers from the group who will share their insights and reflections on the first set of chapters we’ve read together.
Guided by a moderator, the panelists will discuss key themes, takeaways, and personal applications. Following the panel, the rest of the group will have the opportunity to contribute their thoughts, fostering a rich and interactive discussion.
This session is designed to deepen our understanding of the text and hear diverse perspectives from our collective journey.
Schedule:
12 pm - 1 pm: The panel will discuss themes from Chapters 1-4
1 pm - 2 pm: The Group will discuss Chapter 5: I’m Not Your Superwoman
Assignments:

Meeting Seven
Chapter 6: Blooming in Babylon
Discussion Focus: Thriving in a secular world while staying true to faith.
Key Questions:
“What challenges do you face in remaining faithful in secular spaces?”
“What practices help you stay grounded in your faith?”

Discuss ways to flourish as a faith-centered individual in a challenging world.

Discussion Focus: Addressing the absence of Black women in church spaces and creating inclusive communities.
Activities:
Explore the gospel vision for restoring Black women to vital roles in the church.
Discussion on how to create and maintain inclusive church spaces.
Faith Circles share reflections and future commitments.
Assignments:
Read The Epilogue (A Love Letter to the Black Church) as reflective reading to close the study.

This special event will feature fellowship, delicious food, and meaningful conversations as we reflect on the insights and connections cultivated throughout the series.
